The name Kingdom Church originated 20 years ago when Pastor Joseph Stephens served as the youth pastor over the children's ministry at the First Baptist Church in Roseville MI. God spoke to him and said declare a word over the children that will invoke what you want them to become as well as possess. He gave him this word in Matthew 13:38 which states “the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom.

Pastor Joe then replaced the name children's church with the name Kingdom Church allowing the young people to understand that THEY are the good seed we sow into the world to operate with dominion and power defeating the enemy in all things. As God prepared Him for the next phase in pastoring, God said told Pastor Joe to “use what I already gave you and include the word IMPACT which reveals to people the major effect this ministry will have on everyone who comes in contact with it. Thus, our ministry was named Kingdom Church Impact Ministries.
